Trinibrá is a third sushi restaurant, for which I had a pleasure to create full brand identity. The goal was to express mixture of two cultures – Brazilian and Caribbean and theirs unique food flavours.

Sushi Bar

Fusion of Brazilian and Caribbean flavours is the key element of Trinibrá’s sushi. Traditional, Japanese methods of handling the fish, together with chefs secret grandma’s recipes, place this restaurant in the league of their own.

Trinibrá is a third sushi restaurant, for which I had a pleasure to create full brand identity. The goal was to express mixture of two cultures – Brazilian and Caribbean and theirs unique food flavours.

Concept

Trinibrá’s soul is a blend of two passionate chefs, who spent many years working and studying traditional, Japanese sushi recipes. However strong, childhood memories of theirs grandmothers kitchen, so close to their hearts, always pushed them towards flavour experimentation. Today, as a result, Trinibrá’s unique proposition has no match across contemporary, modern sushi restaurants. It was therefore essential to reveal them in the branding as united tandem.

Inspiration

As a source of inspiration for the total branding, I used old postcards and retro photography from Trinidad & Tobago and Brazil. It was in 1960’s and 70’s where both places were heavily promoted as a great, exotic tourist destinations. Postcolonial architecture, bars on the beach serving cold beer, palm trees, gold sun and blue sea, those are the key elements known to everybody as unique artefacts of both regions.

Stationary

All Trinibrá’s stationary has been designed based on the branding’s concept and inspiration. Menu – main promotional medium of the restaurant, captures the core essence of the project – an appetising blend between Trinidad & Tobago and Brazil’s cultures and cuisines.
